Averroes Advisory Leads Workshops for QCS Staffs and Members
Two workshops were held for Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) employees. The first took place on Monday, October 30, 2017 and the second took place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Ritz-Carlton Hotel Doha. The purpose behind these workshops were to engage QCS staff members in fun, hands-on exercises in order to get ideas flowing concerning defining the current status of their organization.
The first workshop constituted of identifying the charity’s most important values, establishing a defined vision, and conducting a positioning matrix. All of this was achieved so as to develop a market positioning strategy for QCS and its services.
The second workshop on the other hand consisted of group works whereby team members were responsible for filling business canvas model templates so as to identify their key partners, key activities, value propositions, customer relationships, customer segments, key resources, channels, cost structure, and revenue streams. The Business Canvas Model was completed on two groups of people: (1) the beneficiaries and (2) the supporters.
All of the above information collected from the teams will be used to further analyze the organization and its operations as a whole in order to establish strategic direction and identify strategic positioning aligned to their organizational goals.
